In RBY you have two chances to catch Snorlax, one of whom is blocking Route 16 and the other of which can be found on Route 12 (use the Pokeflute item to wake them up and engage them in battle). So many people love Snorlax to death.I am not one of them, but I'm not going to insult him unduly because I don't fancy being beaten down by a rabid mob of angry Snorlax fans anytime soon. Snorlax needs no introduction, really he's ONLY the single most popular non-evolver that isn't also a legendary out there. That having been said, today's Pokemon is Snorlax. Once again I've decided to gather together a group of loosely related Pokemon this week's theme is.*drum roll*.Pokemon who can't evolve! Okay, I'm a bit strapped for ideas so sue me.

The game of figuring out which is better, a STAB move with the weaker stat, or a non-STAB move with the higher stat.YES NO(SUGGESTED, people I'm not telling you what to do) to get the most bang for your Pokébuck. Or poor Quagsire who is water/ground with a better Attack stat, but all water moves are Special, so I guess I should stick with ground moves for offense. Like Togetic who has a higher Sp Attack, but because Normal moves are affected by the Attack stat, so there’s no good STAB move.
It’ll make for a bigger challenge though. It’s the only thing I have to be actively conscious of (moves I’m used to thinking of as physical or special can be opposite), but I think I’ve got it memorized which type is which. Attack vs Attack with the types being evenly divided between them rather than each attack having its own designation. It really helps that I know the whole spiel about Sp. Now that I’ve had lots of experience being competitive with battling from Gen 6 and 7, as well as lots of use of Pokemon Showdown, I want to test my mettle there. Try to craft my rotating mains to be viable at the Battle Tower.
